Porchfests are annual music events held across the United
States and in Canada on front porches. Started in Ithaca, New York in 2007,
porchfest events bring local musicians and neighborhoods together to celebrate

Napa Ca. is now preparing for this free event which will be
the sixth year of this music
celebration. Last year free music was performed on some 90 porches by 116 bands
with an attendance of over 12,000 people..
At our venue we only have a small porch so we extend it by
raising a canopy on the lawn and adding shade cloths to protect the musicians,
neighbors and passersby. This will be the fourth year that “Molly’s Jam” will
be filling the air with oldtime music. Here are some pictures from previous years.
